So I am a huge case person. Every phone that I usually get every year, I always get as many cases as I possibly can. So far I’ve gotten quite a lot of cases for the new iPhone duo, and if I’m being completely honest, this is the cheapest one that I’ve gotten out of the bunch, but it is also the best one that I think I’ve gotten out of the bunch. I was a little bit skeptical because I saw some reviews, but after getting in person and just trusting my gut, I can definitely see why I love it. When you first get it, it does look like there’s something wrong with the back and on the inside like if the clear was rugged. however, I learned very very quickly that I was just able to go ahead and peel those off. You could see it in the before and after photo that I also attached. After I took off the three different protective films, I was able to actually examine this case and I definitely am very very impressed. The quality of it makes me feel like it will absolutely hold up when I do get the duo, especially with the airbag corners. I do have a test dummy of the iPhone duo and I can confirm that it does fit in the case. The material seems to be the standard TPU, which is very very nice, and I love the additional hinge. It’s not hinge protection, but I love that it is connected by the hinge that is probably one of my favorite things about this. Is also extremely strong as I’ve tested out a couple different accessories. I’m excited to try this when the official device comes out. Overall, everything was very very easy to use as well. I would definitely recommend this case to anyone who’s looking to get the duo and want something slim sleek and something that looks nice while protecting your phone as well.

Despite the product title mentioning hinge protection, this version doesn’t appear to have a bulky hinge cover, which is actually a plus for me. As someone who has used folding phones before, I prefer not having an extra hinge flap sticking out when the phone is open. Those covers can add bulk and sometimes make the phone feel awkward in the hand. This case keeps things streamlined and maintains the sleek feel of a foldable device.
